Fountain Hills High School was named an "A" rated school by the Arizona Department of Education for 2023. Letter grades are determined based on graduation rates, percent passing on the state assessment, growth from the previous year, and how prepared students are for college and career. An "A" letter grade equates to an "Excellent" label. We are very proud of our students and staff for their hard work and for having high expectations.

The new Fountain Hills Middle School received lots of help over the summer making the new site beautiful. Local parent, Heather Atkins volunteered months of time painting the hallways and creating three geometric murals. The new paint makes our school unique and fun. Last week Fountain Hills Unified School District was notified by the Office of Community Oriented Policing Services (the COPS Office), School Violence Prevention Program, that the district was awarded $500,000 to use for school safety upgrades. We are excited to receive this funding and will be updating cameras, early notification and automation systems, and ornamental fencing among other projects.
